Financial Controller

QUALIFICTIONS

University degree in Business Administration, Economics and similar

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

Minimum two years of experience, preferably in big four audit companies

English proficiency both written and verbal is a must.

Having no restriction to travel.

Strong problem-solving skills

Will be located in Istanbul

Ability to work abroad and in a multi-cultural environment

Ability to work well under pressure with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

• Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported

• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

• Research technical accounting issues for compliance

• Support month-end and year-end close process

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Determine development areas regarding balance sheet, cost, expenditure items and follow up achievement levels on targets mentioned

• Additional controller duties as necessary
