Customer Success Specialist
Rimuut, an Estonian e-Residency startup with a team mostly based in Istanbul, launched in November 2017, removes the most common commercial problem of all freelancers across the world: Issuing valid VAT invoices and getting paid without having a registered company. 

The usual Billing, Settlement, and Payment (BSP) process between two registered companies won't work between an individual and a commercial entity. Thus, freelancers feel this handicap by losing clients or being replaced by agencies or registered businesses, while in fact, freelancers are the most effective solution when compared to businesses giving the same service. Rimuut eliminates this handicap, plus simplifies managerial & accounting-related procedures of companies that work with freelancers with their virtual company solution.

On its second year after the launch, Rimuut reached over 25.000 freelancers across 40 countries and completed tens of thousands of transactions, while achieving 91% customer satisfaction, 77 NPS (SaaS Avg: 26)  and a monthly recurring revenue rate of 75%, which indicates that Rimuut continues its sustainable and rapid growth.

Founded by two Turkish entrepreneurs Esen Bulut and Mert Bulut, Rimuut works with over 2000 corporations in 40 countries, including renowned brands like KPMG, Columbia University, Greenpeace, Delivery Hero, and Change.org.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly learn the ins and outs of our services.
  • Promptly respond to customers via chat and email.
  • Help them solve their product or service problems.
  • Lead them through onboarding.
  • Track accounts to identify churn risk and work actively to eliminate that risk.
  • Communicate with technical teams to resolve issues.
  • Document common questions, bugs and issues and translate customer feedback to teams internally and serve as the "voice of the customer".
  • Coordinate with Business Development to provide extra support to large customers.

Required

  • You have a passion for meeting new people and a love for conversation.

  • You are positive, outgoing, and have a friendly personality that shines through in virtual communication (email, chat and video calls).
  • You can maintain your center as you interact with all personality types, including the occasional stressed-out user who needs your help and patience.
  • You have the ability to  learn technically complex things quickly. You have a strong work-ethic. You love what you do, and want to do it well.
  • You are self-motivated and a life-long learner. 
  • You are detail-obsessed and love to discover anything overlooked.
  • You want to learn and grow in a fast-paced tech startup environment surrounded by colleagues who care about supporting each other to succeed.
  • You hold a Bachelor degree or higher.
  • You have strong analytical skills. You need to be good with numbers. Seriously!
  • You have a high-level of proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal. If you know additional languages, be sure to tell us.
  • You are a digital native and feel comfortable with Gmail, Zoom, Google Docs/Sheets, Trello and Slack.
  • You honor confidentiality, privacy, and loyalty. All team members sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).

Preferred

  • Prior remote and/or startup experience.
  • Previous experience in customer service or account management.
  • Familiarity with and/or interest in the freelance market and challenges.

Not Preferred

  • You are a cynic or a pessimist. No judgment, but you won't fit in.
  • You are scared of technology.
  • You don't demonstrate desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • You don't like being measured, challenged, or being held to must-hit deadlines.
